Opening of a new subsidiary: Haulotte Japan

Haulotte consolidates its position in Japan with a new subsidiary

0011.jpgThe establishment of Haulotte Japan, which had been previously operating as a branch office since March 2015, confirms the Group’s long-term commitment to the valuable Japanese market. Based in Osaka, the subsidiary will now operate as a global solutions provider, with among other things, an increased stock of spare parts, which will shorten the lead-time for maintenance and repairs, with the primary objective: CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. The Japanese team will also focus on improving communications with its customers through regular face-to-face meetings and seminars.

In line with the Group’s worldwide policy of tapping deep local market knowledge, Haulotte Japan plans to work with experienced local partners to help all parties grow their businesses. An increased staff strength, which includes a highly experienced French engineer, will help Haulotte Japan better serve and broaden its customer base while seeking new and emerging market opportunities.

As a leading European company with a global outlook, Haulotte has long recognised the importance of the dynamic Asian markets. The sales and services subsidiary Haulotte Japan complements the Group’s footprint in China and Singapore, and is a key part of the Group’s ongoing expansion plans in Asia.

Haulotte’s ties with Japan commenced more than nine years ago, when it first supplied its unique Star10 product, followed by a series of electric scissors. Over the past two years, it has sold medium to large articulating booms, primarily to customers in the construction and shipyard industries. Haulotte is currently the market leader in Japan for articulating booms.

The opening of Haulotte Japan office was celebrated with Haulotte’s rental partner in Japan, Nishio Rent All Co. Ltd, over lunch in Osaka. At the lunch, Damien Gautier, Managing Director, Haulotte Asia Pacific, said, “Today I am very honoured to announce the incorporation of Haulotte Japan and looking forward to building great relationships with our local partners.” A guest at the lunch, Mr. Masashi Nishio, President of Nishio Rent All Co. Ltd added, “Nishio looks forward to continuing and building on the great relationship we have enjoyed with Haulotte as its rental partner since 2015. We foresee that having an expert French engineer stationed full-time at Haulotte’s office will help us respond swiftly and efficiently to customer enquiries.”

Haulotte Japan is located at SBJ ShinOsaka Bldg 4-6-5, Nishinakajima, Yodogawaku, Osakashi, Osaka, Japan, 532-0011.
